Thank you to all of our artists, supporters, sponsors, fans, Miller Outdoor Theater and Texas Folklife crew who made the 27th annual Accordion Kings & Queens a smashing success! Despite heavy downpours and flooding in the Houston-area in the weeks and days leading up to the event, the skies cleared by the afternoon and we had some fabulous weather for the show. Czech Melody Masters, The Magnolia Sisters, and Geno Delafose & French Rockin’ Boogie kept the dancers going all evening, while a unique set featuring David Lee Garza with guests David Farias, Berna Rodriguez and Las Fenix, Max Baca, Josh Baca, and Noel Hernandez of Los Texmaniacs absolutely rocked the house.
Enjoy some select photos of the event courtesy of David Dodd.
