Texas Folklife and the  Bullock Texas State History Museum are pleased to announce that the Finals for the annual Big Squeeze accordion contest will take place at the museum on Saturday, April 22, 2017. The event will be held from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. on the Lone Star Plaza in front of the museum (in case of rain it will be held inside), and is free and open to the public. The Big Squeeze finalists will perform before the judges and the public, along with showcase accordion artists throughout the afternoon!

About the Big Squeeze:
The Big Squeeze is a statewide contest for accordion players ages 21 and under to showcase their performance abilities in any genre of music: polka, zydeco, conjunto, Tejano, Cajun, and more!
