    A celebration of all things fiddle right in the heart of Texas Folklife. We here at TXF are happy to announce 30 years of fiddle fanatacism and we're kicking it all of with a fiddle friday - and the best part? You're all invited!

    The Central Accordion Association and the Elgin SPJST present "The Accordion Jamboree" on Sunday, Oct 26th at 3:00 pm. The Jamboree will shocase accordion music of many different styles and genres. There will be five groups of musicians ranging from solo artists to full bands of seven or eight. Each set will be thirty five minutes. The genres range from Czech music to Chicago style dance music to big band sounds and country. This event is for dancing! All the music will be danceable and the blend of sounds means that there'll be something for everyone.

    Gallista Gallery consists of 10 artists studios, a thrift shop, and a cafe with a lounge area in the showroom/gift shop that sells Gallista products, Chicano art products, and Chicano literature. The Main Gallery holds the opening reception for our monthly featured artist every Segundo Sabado (2nd Saturday). This large room is also rented out for weddings, receptions, graduation events, birthdays, art events and workshops.
