Judith Estrada Garcia, a 25 year veteran of the Marine Corps, is the curator for this year's AVAFest Exhibits.

"The military is underrepresented in the arts. The reimented conditions in which the military are required to perform their missions takes them away from the creative process. My mission is to assist military members and their families in their artistic goals by providing venues for them to reveal their artwork to the world community."
