2022 Big Squeeze Champions
This past weekend, 11 finalists in 5 traditional accordion genre categories (two conjunto age genres, polka, cajun, and zydeco) travelled to Austin's Bullock Texas State History Museum from across Texas and Louisiana to compete in the 2022 Big Squeeze Finals. After the incredible performances from the finalists, the five winners were announced live.

Congratulations again to this year's Big Squeeze winners! The 2022 Big Squeeze Champions will be performing at the 33rd Annual Accordion Kings & Queens Concert on June 4th at Houston's Miller Outdoor Theatre. This event will be live streamed and in-person.
We would like to congratulate all the contestants who competed in the Big Squeeze's 16th contest! You all worked incredibly hard over the past year and we were impressed by the caliber of talent you young musicians possess. We are proud of all of you and hope you will continue to carry on the squeezebox tradition and join us again for next year's Big Squeeze season.
