Texas Folklife is seeking quilts for an exhibit
Stories preserve events and pass on understanding from one generation to another, keeping cultures alive and providing a link to understanding who we are. Quilts often have stories to tell too.
Texas Folklife is seeking quilts that have a story to tell for an exhibit at our Houston Street gallery this spring. We will exhibit 12-15 quilts for 3 months.
Conditions for Entry
Open to all Texas quilters, please submit up to 3 photos including a detail of the quilt and short description of the story behind the creation of the quilt.
Quilts may have been previously exhibited and may be collaborative.
Our gallery is small but we will consider quilts of all size. They must have a rod sleeve on the back or be framed and ready to hang.
