Description:

Join The University of Texas at Austin for a celebration of Xantolo, an expression of Day of the Dead from Mexico’s Huasteca region. This event will feature a conversation and performance by Trio Huasteco Los Hidalguenses, who are visiting the University of Texas from Pachuca, Hidalgo. Los Hidalguenses will interpret regional repertory and share their thoughts on music, culture, and the celebration of Xantolo.

Únase a la Universidad de Texas en Austin para una celebración de Xantolo, una expresión del Día de Muertos de la región Huasteca de México. Este evento contará con una charla y luego un concierto del Trío Huasteco Los Hidalguenses, quienes están de visita en la Universidad de Texas desde Pachuca, Hidalgo. Los Hidalguenses interpretarán repertorio regional y compartirán sus pensamientos sobre la música, la cultura y la celebración de Xantolo.
