Ney Day and Oliver Franklin Celebration of Life

Ney Day is back! After two years of the pandemic, Ney Day returns to commemorate Elisabet Ney and her legacy (and how Oliver kept it alive), celebrating women in the arts, sciences and civic culture. Like in years past, there will be a ton of artist-led projects, demonstrations, booths, and music by Chulita Vinyl Club. Ney Day starts at 10 am and goes until 4 pm.

After Ney Day, friends, family, and Austin Parks staff will be celebrating the life, work, and indomitable spirit of Oliver Franklin. All are invited to come listen and share. If you cannot attend in person or do not wish to speak, email your reflections to FriendsOfNey@gmail.com so we can compile for our website and for his children.
