On April 30th-May 2nd, Michelle Alany & the Memoriana Collective will be presenting a 3-day Sephardic Crossroads Celebration, sharing beautiful and timeless Judeo-Spanish music in special listening spaces in Austin.
It will feature Nefesh JoyKestra & very special musical guests. All are welcome.
4/30 Agudas Achim, 5/1 Central Market North,
5/2 Community of Christ with concert, lecture and song workshop

You will have the opportunity to hear Michelle Alany and Nefesh JoyKestra, in a concert of Sephardic music with very special guests, different each show. for more info.

Saturday, May 2nd at Community of Christ
2132 Bluebonnet Lane (at Bluebonnet and Rabb Glenn, off S Lamar)
Starting at 6:30, they invite attendees to participate in a brief Sephardic Song Workshop.  Following the workshop, a pre-concert talk with Dr. Sonia Tamar Seeman, Associate Professor at Center for Middle Eastern Studies, at the Butler School of Music at UT. Director of UT Middle Eastern music ensemble, Bereket.
Michelle Alany and Nefesh JoyKestra with very special guests will then perform a concert of Sephardic music.
Donation:$15 at door, $12 advance purchase. Students & Seniors:$10.

This project is sponsored in part by the Cultural Arts Division of the City of Austin Economic Development Department.  Additional support from Texas Folklife.

Also, on Friday, May 1st, Michelle Alany and Nefesh JoyKestra is happy to  be at Central Market, North Lamar from 6:30 – 9:30pm, performing Greek music as part of Passport Greece.
