Live presentation of audio stories and writing projects created by veterans for the Creative Forces: NEA Military Healing Arts Network projects by Texas Folklife and VSA Texas. Free and open to the public with RSVP!

The evening will also feature guest speakers military folklorists Eric Eliason and Tad Tuljea, co-editors of Warrior Ways: Explorations in Modern Military Folklore (2012), illuminating the ways in which members of the armed services creatively express the complex experience of military life.

An initiative of the National Endowment for the Arts, Creative Forces: NEA Military Healing Arts Network is a partnership with the US Departments of Defense and Veteran Affairs and the state and local arts agencies with administrative support provided by Americans for the Arts. Additional support provided by Texas Commission on the Arts and Temple's Cultural Activities Center.
