We did it again! Stories from Deep in the Heart made Generation PRX's Best Youth-Made Radio of 2013. "Auveed and Mateen's Excellent Adventure" is featured among the many heartfelt youth-produced pieces chosen as the best of 2013.

"Papercuts" exhibit by Bradley Jaye Williams was a huge success, thanks to his inspired papercut art, his music and his friends! Texas Folklife fans enjoyed an evening of Polish-American art, music and food, without escaping the Tex-Mex flavors of Austin, of course. A special feature of the night was home-prepared krupnik (honey-infused vodka) by none other than Bradley Williams himself!
It's that time again! We are searching for the best young accordion players in Texas from the categories conjunto, zydeco and polka for our annual Big Squeeze contest. To be eligible, you must be 21 and under and enter by April 7th. Participants may be asked to perform in our finals in Austin on April 26th. You could also win a cash prize.
Texas Folklife and TDHP are partnering to produce the Texas Polka Music Festival and Symposium in Schulenburg on March 1, 2014.
