Come out to Patrick Heath Library on September 8th for the Sauerkraut event of the year!
Community Folklife Fellow, Julie Gossell, will present her podcast project on sauerkraut traditions in the Hill Country. Photographs taken by Julie of communities demonstrating traditional sauerkraut fermentation techniques will also be showcased during the presentation.
Enjoy free tastings of six different homemade sauerkraut recipes, bratwurst bites, and sauerkraut chocolate cake. This event is FREE and open to all Ages!

About the Community Folklife Fellowship
The Texas Folklife Community Folklife Fellowship program is a statewide, NEA-supported pilot program that provides training in oral history, interviewing, audio storytelling, archives, and podcast production for adults. Participants learn to document community traditions in their own cities and towns throughout the state, through workshops and community partnerships. The program seeks applicants from diverse regions and communities of the state of Texas.
