Join Texas Folklife for our 2025 Virtual Apprenticeship Showcase, a celebration of Texas artists, mentors, and apprentices who are preserving and passing on living traditions across the state. This special livestream event features presentations and conversations with mentor-apprentice pairs from our 2025 Apprenticeship in the Folk & Traditional Arts Program.
Each group will share their craft through short videos followed by live Q&A sessions, offering audiences the chance to learn more about their practices and the cultural knowledge being carried forward.
Part 1: Visual Arts and Storytelling
Artists in this segment have been working with clay, weaving, storytelling, plants, and adobe. A 15-minute live Q&A with the group will follow.
