Texas Folklife is on the lookout for talented folk artists who are dedicated to capturing the rich tapestry of Texas culture. Whether you’re a visual artist, traditional crafter, storyteller, or folk poet, we invite you to be part of our quarterly events.

What We’re Looking For:

  1. Visual Artists with a passion for Texas culture.
  2. Traditional Crafters and Artisans preserving heritage skills.
  3. Storytellers and Folk Poets weaving tales of our traditions.

How to Join:

If you’re ready to showcase your unique folk talents, send the following to communications@texasfolklife.org:

  1. Brief artist bio.
  2. Portfolio or samples of your work.
  3. Description of your connection to Texas folk traditions.

Let’s celebrate the diversity of Texas through art and tradition! Your contribution could be a highlight at our upcoming events.
