At Texas Folklife, spring is in full swing—and so is our calendar! From music-filled festivals to hands-on workshops, we’re hitting the road to celebrate Texas traditions across the state. Whether you’re in the Rio Grande Valley, Central Texas, or the DFW area, there’s a Texas Folklife event coming your way.


Before the Squeeze: Grant Writing Workshop
Saturday, April 26 | 3:00–5:00 PM
ACE Center | 315 W McIntyre St, Edinburg, TX

Led by Dr. Elisha Oliver with a special intro by Texans for the Arts, this workshop will cover budgeting, proposal writing, and identifying the right funding opportunities.
