I have worked in music for over 30 years. I play several musical instruments, including accordion, guitar, bass guitar and a few others. I also sing, compose and produce songs. Over the years I have done a combination of performing, recording producing and traveling with music. I have collaborated with several musicians and artist throughout different projects. My band has been nominated twice for a Tejano music award, and we won in 2015 for the category of best new group. I continue to work in music with my band Grupo Imagen out of Corpus Christi, Texas. I am also involved in other projects and collaborations throughout Texas. I have had the privilege of being a judge for the Texas Folk Life, The Big Squeeze Competition for several years. I am now honored to be on the Accordion Music Advisory Counsel for Texas Folk Life. I am genuinely committed to helping young musicians find a path in this field. I feel strong about empowering women and anyone who has a love and passion for music like me.
